Compress PDF

Last updated: March 25, 2026

How the app works

Compress PDF processes the documents you choose locally on your device. The app does not require account creation and does not upload PDF or image content to a remote server for compression. The app may show ads served by Google AdMob.

Data the app handles

The app can access PDFs or images only after you choose them through Android's system picker. It stores compression history, file names, save locations, and preferences locally on your device so you can reuse the app more easily.

To support ads, Google AdMob may receive device identifiers, IP-based region information, ad interaction signals, and diagnostics according to Google's policies and any consent choices you make.

Permissions and file access

The app uses Android's system pickers instead of broad storage permissions. It does not request all-files access and only works with the items you explicitly select.

Security and ad technology

Selected files are processed on-device inside Android app storage and through Android's document access framework. The app includes Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform to serve ads and manage privacy choices. Those SDKs may connect to the network, but the content of your selected PDFs and images is not uploaded for advertising.

Your controls

You can remove history entries, clear temporary files, change save destinations, and uninstall the app at any time. When required by Google's privacy framework, the Settings screen provides a privacy options entry point so you can review or change your ad choices.
